Alysia Ross is a Spanish Instructor for the Department of Languages and Culture Studies. She began her teaching career at the University of Louisville as a Spanish Graduate Teaching Assistant in 2006. Ms. Ross became the first adjunct professor at the University of Louisville to teach exclusively online Spanish courses in 2009. She continues to teach online classes in Spanish and Hispanic culture for the University of Louisville. Ms.
Born and raised in El Salvador, David moved to Charlotte in 2014. He holds a Mayor and a Master in Environmental Studies, with specialization in Education.
Interested in environmental issues, community development, photography, and technology.
Since becoming an honorary Charlottean, David has supported some organizations like Habitat for Humanity Charlotte, UNISAL, The Latin American Coalition, Learning Help Centers of Charlotte, and Charlotte Community Health Clinic.
