Students in Costa Rica
Dear Colleagues,
Did you study abroad or are you from another country? How has your personal and professional life benefited from language skills and cultural understanding?
This year marks the 28th anniversary of the annual Spanish Language and Culture in Costa Rica summer program. For the first time, we have the opportunity to help make it possible for UNC Charlotte students to further their Spanish language and cultural competency skills, regardless of their financial status.
Over the course of a month, students will take language courses in the capital of San José throughout the week and also have the opportunity to travel to many incredible natural and man-made landmarks, including national parks with volcanoes or beaches, and cultural sites spanning from pre-Columbian to contemporary times. This year, we will also be visiting a local orphanage to care for the children and bring them much-needed materials.
Through our crowdfunding campaign, you can help cover the cost of travel, tuition, and other materials. Every dollar will help! Please visit our crowdfunding page today to make a donation!
We would also greatly appreciate you sharing the crowdfunding page with your social network, and join our networks too!
All donations are tax-deductible, as they are made directly through the University, and you will receive a receipt in the mail. Thank you in advance for your support, and please let me know if you have any questions!
