Overview

Born and raised in El Salvador, David moved to Charlotte in 2014. He holds a Mayor and a Master in Environmental Studies, with specialization in Education.

Interested in environmental issues, community development, photography, and technology.

Since becoming an honorary Charlottean, David has supported some organizations like Habitat for Humanity Charlotte, UNISAL, The Latin American Coalition, Learning Help Centers of Charlotte, and Charlotte Community Health Clinic.

During class, David encourages the understanding of cultural components as a crucial part of language acquisition. Be prepared to share from some laughs to deep reflections about current topics.
