Spring Break Study Abroad in Paris

Friday, June 29, 2018

Paris is the perfect place to explore 2000+ years of French civilization. In this course you will discover the city's Gallo-Roman past, its medieval history and magnificent cathedrals, and the age of the Sun King at Versailles. You will wander the grand boulevards of Paris, stroll down the Champs-Elysées to the Arc de Triomphe, visit the Louvre and Napoleon's tomb, and learn about key historical figures and events that have shaped France's capital and its people. Today, the "City of Lights" is a multicultural metropolis that is home to populations from all around the globe. You will visit buildings and memorials that reflect France's relationship with its former colonies. And because no visit to Paris would be complete without experiencing the French joie de vivre as well as that famous French chic, the program includes a dinner cruise on the Seine and a fashion show. If you want to spend fall break doing something thrilling with new-found friends and earn 3 hours of credit for a W course, then this course is for you.
