Garcia is a MA Fellow of Spanish who will be teaching elementary Spanish courses for the 2020-2021 academic year. She is a recent graduate of the Master's  in Spanish program at UNC Charlotte. During her time as a graduate student, she served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for three consecutive semesters, completed an MA Thesis on inclusive language and language ideology in Mexico and Spain, and presented her research at the Southeastern Association of Cultural Studies Conference.
